Jean-Pierre (JP) Blazek is a Personal Trainer from Lugano, Switzerland. After obtaining his Personal Training qualification in 2009 with Premier Training International in London, United Kingdom, he immediately started working as a freelance coach, looking after a variety of clients aiming to achieve goals such as improved strength & conditioning, weight management, sports specific preparation as well as management of chronic back pain.


Over the years his main focus has been group training, where he’s managed to successfully build a strong community both face to face as well as online.

JP’s mission is to educate you on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle as well as having a balanced and sustainable approach to physical activity in order to be able to reap the joys and benefits for Life. 

His philosophy is based around using a person-centered approach in order to understand your goals, evaluate your current capacity in relation to your goals and to help you bridge the gap between current capacity and long term goals. He believes in the basics done well and his objective is to coach you the fundamental movement patterns in order for you to become self-sufficient in your training over time.


JP is always looking to develop myself professionally and over the years has taken part in a number of seminars including Dr. Liebenson’s First Principles of Movement Level 1 & 2 as well as his Mentorship program. Currently he’s undertaking EXOS’s Sports Performance Specialist Certification as well as preparing for the Russian kettlebell Certificate Level 1.

In his spare time he loves anything revolving around sports, from strength training, cycling, running and skiing to watching ice hockey, soccer or tennis. He also very much enjoys cooking, especially Italian food and, and he speaks several languages including English, Italian, German, French and Czech.
